Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to LoadMasta! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the LoadMasta mobile application (“App”). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the App. Please read these Terms carefully before using LoadMasta.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using LoadMasta, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions along with our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to any of these terms, do not access or use the App.

3. User Information Collection

We collect and process personal information, including but not limited to:

  • Email Address: For account creation, login, communication, and notifications.
  • Phone Number: For account security, two-factor authentication (if applicable), and communication.
  • Physical Address: If applicable, used for delivery services.
  • Location Data: Collected through your device to provide location-based services.
  • Phone Storage Access: Used to store app-related data and user preferences.
  • Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the App, including login activity, features used, and errors encountered.

4. Use of Collected Information

Your personal information is used for:

  • Service Provision: To deliver, operate, and improve our services.
  • Communication: To send notifications about your account, transactions, and updates.
  • Personalization: To customize your experience and provide relevant content.
  • Security: To protect your account and detect fraudulent activities.
  • Legal Compliance: To meet legal obligations and enforce agreements.

5. User Responsibilities

By using LoadMasta, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information during registration.
  • Keep your account credentials confidential.
  • Notify LoadMasta immediately of any unauthorized access or security breaches.
  • Use the App strictly for business-related activities only.
  • Refrain from using the App for unlawful, harmful, or malicious purposes.

6. Commission and Penalties

  1. A minimum 5% commission is charged on all local loads.
  2. Failure to pick a load on the agreed date will attract a penalty fee of 2.5% on top of the 5% commission.
  3. Abandoning a load without a valid reason such as illness, injury, or a major truck breakdown will result in a 5% penalty of the amount that the load owner was supposed to pay the truck owner.
  4. In the event that a driver falls sick or faces a major obstruction preventing them from picking up a load, they must immediately communicate with LoadMasta’s office.

7. Registration Requirements

To register as a transporter or load owner, the following must be submitted:

  1. Valid National Registration Card
  2. Recent fingerprints taken and signed by an official police authority
  3. Photos of the vehicle/truck and trailer
  4. Copies of the vehicle’s white books
  5. Company profile, accompanied by valid documents such as PACCRA registration and Goods in Transit documents. If a transporter or load owner does not have a company profile, they must submit Goods in Transit documents and PACCRA (or an equivalent document used in their respective country).
  6. Valid driver’s license
  7. Valid road tax, insurance, and vehicle fitness certificate
  8. Selfie photo of the driver or truck owner

8. User Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal data. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Third-Party Services

The App may contain links to third-party services not operated by LoadMasta. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party sites. We encourage you to review their respective policies before engaging with them.

10. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights related to LoadMasta, including trademarks, logos, software, text, and designs, are owned by LoadMasta or its licensors. Users may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
